Mr. Mbai is the Principle and Chief Executive Officer of Coban Capital Asset Management LLP with offices in the United Kingdom. Mr. Mbai oversees Coban Capital’s investment process and has an active role in capital allocation decisions, risk management, and talent recruitment and is a member of the Firm’s Management Committee.

Mr. Mbai’s journey into the world of finance began early, as he delved into trading at a young age, driven by a deep passion for investment. Over the span of more than a decade, he honed his skills through extensive research and mentoring, laying the groundwork for the establishment of Coban Capital. Drawing upon insights gained, he embarked on the journey of founding Coban Capital, leveraging his knowledge and network to build a leading alternative asset management investment business and to begin accepting outside capital combined with a diverse experienced exceptional teams previously and currently having worked at Goldman Sachs , Morgan Stanley and Other Major Tier 1 institutional Firms.

Mr.Mbai received a BS in Business Economics as well as a Masters in Money, Banking and Central Banking at Buckingham University, in the United Kingdom.
